Models Own Banana Split Swatch! Pastel Yellow Nail Polish

Hey guys woop woop second day in a row of posting! Going to get back into blogging now! I actually did these nails a few days ago but have just got around to posting it now. :)

I got this nail polish back at the start of summer, I really wanted it as I saw so many people raving about it on youtube and instagram.

This is the polish swatch. It is not very pigmented when you put it on, you need about 3 coats to get a solid colour but you could get away with only 2 coats it would just be a little patchy.

The scented part is slightly ridiculous, the top of the bottle is a scratch and sniff which does smell like those banana sweets. But your nails really don't smell like bananas they just smell like chemicals, sorry to disappoint!

Overall, I like it but there is probably a better and more pigmented version on the market and when I find a good one I'll blog about it!

Simple Blue Rhinestone Nail Art

Hey guys so I did these nails about 2 weeks ago and I'm so sorry I'm so inconsistent with posts I have been so busy as school started this week. I will be back at regular posts in a week or two when I have all of my homework handled!

Any ways I loved these nails I never use rhinestones and I have a whole wheel so I thought I would use them for a change. This was a really simple look it didn't take much effort at all.

These are the nails. I used Essie protein base coat followed by 3 coats of Barry M Blue Moon. The rhinestones I used were dark blue ones from a wheel which you can buy here for only £1.39.

I applied them with a bit of topcoat on my nail to act as glue and then I placed the rhinestones on them with tweezers. If you want you can put a bit of top coat/clear nail polish on the tweezers so you can pick up the rhinestones better. There is also a great tutorial on how you can apply rhinestones by JulieG713 which you can watch here.

Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading make sure to comment and follow!

Gradient Nails! Pink,Purple,Blue

Hey guys so I know its been literally SO long! I'm so sorry I'm so bad at making these posts regular. I'm going to take loads of pictures one day next week so I can have posts more regularly for when I go back to school. I don't know whether to do more nail art or swatches.

I got inspired by thenailasaurus' post which you can see here. This is the second time my gradient nails have been successful and it makes me so happy! I'm going to be doing them way more as now I know how to do them properly. They do take a while so it requires some patience lol.

The gradient blends really well. And recently my friend asked me how long a manicure like this lasts so I tested it out while I was on vacation and they last for about 5-6 days.

I hope you like the quality of my pictures from now on as I have a new camera.

Blue Crosses Nail Art

Hey guys thanks so much for 5.5k views! Last year I didn't even get 200 views! Thank you it means so much :). I wanted to do some nail art with striping tape but I didn't have a lot of time so I didn't want to do anything too complex. This is what I came up with

This is the result. It is always easier to choose a lighter colour underneath and then put a darker colour on top when you are using striping tape

This is it up close, the striping tape gives a very crisp finish/look.

I used Essie Protein base coat followed by 1 coat of Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream (it is extremely pigmented). For the dark blue I used Barry M Denim which dries matte so I applied Seche Vite top coat to make it shiny and set my nails.

Thanks for reading, have a good day x

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream Review

Hey guys it was my birthday yesterday and I received this cuticle cream. I have wanted this for a long time, it seems like every nail blogger loves it! So I tried it out.

This product is definitely not a cream, it is a balm consistency. The consistency is much like the burts bees original lip balm (the mint one).

As you can see after I used this product my cuticles looked a lot softer and more healthy. The before picture isn't the best quality which I apologise for. The cuticle cream made my cuticles really nice and soft. Also this cuticle cream smells EXACTLY like lemons. Its crazy it smells like you just stuck your nails in a lemon!

Overall I really recommend this, it is the best cuticle moisturiser I've ever used and now I prefer it over a cuticle oil because this soaks into your skin really quickly and isn't greasy.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shrimply Divine

Hey guys so I have had this nail polish for a while and it is literally my most used colour this summer. It is the perfect pink colour and will go well with all skin tones.

This is the nail polish, it is a bit brighter in real life, the camera couldnt quite pick it up. By the way I got a new camera so my pictures are going to be a lot better quality from now on. The nail polish is quite pigmented, you could get away with one coat but I always use two. You can just put two coats on and you are finished with your nails because it is made so you don't need a base coat or top coat.

I have tried it without a base or top coat and it does stain my nails and chip but if you were going to wear this nail polish only for about 2 days you don't need to worry about using a top coat.

This is it up close. The angle is quite bad it makes the nail polish look really thick it isn't in person.

You can purchase these nail polishes from big Boots stores or on Amazon.co.uk for around £9

I hope you liked this post and my posts will get more professional from now on.

Black and Gold Nail Art using Striping Tape

Hey guys! I am really into blogging right now and I absolutely love reading nail polish blogs, I can literally spend hours looking at nice nail pictures aha! I have always had a vision of doing these nails I just never got around to doing them.

This is the finished result. I am obsessed with how they turned out! How cute right? For the gold I used a Models Own gold which came in a nail set so it doesn't have a name, and then I put a chunky gold glitter on top (Barry M Gold Glitter). Then I put on pieces of striping tape in diagonal parallel lines (which requires a lot of patience) and then I painted a black nail polish over the top. To top it off I added Seche Vite to make it all smooth out and shinier :)

Have a good day thanks for reading, leave any colour combinations you would like me to try with the striping tape in the comments below thanks xx
