Pink Nail Art Look - Dots, Stripes, Diagonals

Hey guys its finally summer for me! I am so happy! I actually ended school 4 days ago but I wanted a little time to reflect on the previous school year and that sort of thing! Sounds a bit weird haha! Anyways I know this look isn't for everyone but I like it :)

I did a design using a hot pink and a dark pinky purple colour. It is very random as I was just experimenting.

I applied a coat of Essie protein base coat, then 2 coats of Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Grapefruit. For the dark colour I used Nails Inc in Plum. Then for the dots I used dotting tools and for the stripes I used striping tape.

Have a good day, thanks for reading xx

Blue Nail Art Using Striping Tape

Hey guys sorry its been a long time since I posted, ive been quite depressed because of things going on with school and im just trying to enjoy the last few days with my friends. So you will be seeing more posts when my summer starts.
This is the look I did. I just did random designs on each nail.

I used Essie protein base coat, then 1 coat of Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream, then a coat of Seche Vite to dry it, then Barry M Indigo on top of the striping tape. Then I used another coat of seche vite to smooth it all out.
This is the design I did on my thumb. Comment if you want a tutorial

Im going to start taking my pictures outside as they turn out so much better because of the natural light.

Have a great day <3

How to get white nail tips FAST!

Hey guys so I started doing this method just to get rid of staining on my nails and it ended up making my nail tips so white! Normally I used to have quite yellow or see through nail tips if you know what I mean?

So it is so simple. All I do is get a nail brush and run it along a bar of soap and then scrub my nails with it. Make sure to scrub underneath your nail tips. I do this at night and when you wake up your nails will be nice and white.

I hope this works for you! Have a good day <3

Gold and Navy Stripes with Striping Tape | Nail Art

Hey guys so until July 24th I am at school so I will be posting on Fridays or Saturdays. Last weekend I did laser art and I thought I would try a vertical stripe design. This took probably 1hr and a half to do, you have to be patient. I personally don't like the colour combination I used but thats just my opinion I guess.
First I applied Essie Protein Base Coat followed by 2 coats of a gold Model's own nail polish (doesn't have a name as it came in a nail art set) Then I used my striping tape and painted a coat of Barry M Gelly in Blackberry.
Nailasaurus has a good tutorial on how to use striping tape which you can find here. It is quite easy to use but it takes a while to place it in the right place.

Thanks for reading, i'll probably be posting tomorrow aswell. Have a great day <3

Laser Nail Art NOTD

Hey guys so I finally got my striping tape in the mail after literally about 5 months! So I immediately started trying this laser nail art and it turned out okay, and these pictures are actually so ugly I was having a bad blogging day today, oops.

This is the finished design. From left to right the bright colours I used were: Barry M Gelly Polish in Greemberry, Barry M Gelly in Satsuma, Jesses Girl Nail Polish in Girls Night out, Jesses Girl nail polish in All Things Girly
This is what they looked like with the flash. And I used thenailasaurus' tutorial which you can find here.

They turned out quite good, considering it was my first time using the tape. It took me about 2 hours because I had to wait for each layer to dry.

*New* Barry M Gelly Nail Polish in Greenberry Swatch

Hey guys today I went into Superdrug and couldn't resist this colour! It is so beautiful and bright, perfect for summer!
This is the nail polish. As you can see it is a turquoise green sort of colour. It is a bit more green in real life than in this picture though. I used Essie Protein Base Coat and then for a top coat I used Seche Vite which made it so shiny and smooth.

This is one of my nails up close, sorry for the awful cuticles and blurry picture, it was a bit rushed :(. I used 2 coats of Greenberry, but only 1 coat was necessary. It is called a 'Hi Shine' nail polish and it is quite shiny but I find it needs a top coat to even out the coats.

I bought it from Superdrug for £3.99 I believe.

New MUA Nail Polish Swatches!

Hey guys so my last MUA polish post is quite popular so I decided to do another one as they released new polishes recently.
To see a more in depth review scroll down <3

This is Pistachio Ice Cream. I have a separate review of it here. I used 2 coats, and you can purchase it here.

This is Lush Lilac. It is a baby pink colour that has a sort of lilac tint, it is such a pretty pastel colour. I used two coats. You can purchase it here.

This is Bold Blue. It is a very bright blue. It reminds me of a sunny day :) aha. You can purchase it here for £1. (Not being sponsored by MUA lol). I used 3 coats, it is not as pigmented as the other two.

The consistency of these are really nice, except the bold blue is more watery. Overall these are definitely worth the money - its only a pound and there are some other great colours I want to purchase.
